Enhanced Community Spaces: Jason pledges to enhance our parks, public areas, and neighborhoods, ensuring they're a safe place for people of all ages to live, work, and play. He will advocate for neighborhood beautification and improvement, particularly uplifting areas of the district which have been historically left behind and forgotten. 

Youth Empowerment: With a spotlight on supporting opportunity youth, Jason advocates for robust youth programs that tackle family homelessness and gang violence, that offer soft and job skills training, and programs that will lead to reduced involvement in the juvenile justice system by supporting organizations like the Boys & Girls Club and supporting programs like Grand Slam. 

Compassionate Community Policies: JJ is committed to supporting community policing initiatives, providing local agencies with the training and resources they need to lead with compassion, all while providing public safety officials adequate and competitive pay. He will advocate for greater government support for recovery programs, mental health treatment and crisis response, and will work to help the unhoused find not just a tent, but a roof over their head with the goal of healing the root causes, not just the symptoms of this issue. 

Economic Prosperity: As a small business owner, JJ is committed to promoting small business growth and tourism expansion to boost sales tax revenue. With these funds, he seeks lower property taxes and expansions to our diversity of housing options, lightening the burden on Athens residents and improving the local economy and landscape of Athens. 

Smart Growth for Athens: JJ advocates for smart growth policies that pave the way for living-wage job creation and increased availability of quality affordable and workforce housing, ensuring a thriving and inclusive community for all.
